I am more than happy to install a new kitchen for you but have you thought about the finishing touches to really make your kitchen look great? It is all in the detail.
Here are four simple ideas to make your new kitchen perfect:
1. Kitchen accessories. Take a look at your worktops and I am willing to bet they are cluttered with all sorts of small appliances. Pack them all off into
cabinets or onto shelves and make room for some attractive accessories that are both practical and stylish. There are a wide variety to choose from such as bread bins and spice racks or tea boxes and rolling pins. Be creative!
2. Wall art. Right, that’s your worktops sorted. What about your walls? I bet the spaces between the cabinets are plain and bare. There are plenty of things you can out up or hang to make them more inviting. A wall clock or mirror, for example. Wooden shelving is always an attractive option. Perhaps you may prefer some family photos, a calendar or a painting.
3. Windows. Everyone wants some privacy when they are cooking so don’t forget to consider your kitchen windows. Blinds are an obvious and convenient choice, of course. You might want to consider fabric window treatments, though, such as roman shades and drapery to add colour and warmth whilst giving you privacy.
4. Floor rugs. I reckon the chances are that your kitchen floor is not carpeted, which is both sensible and practical. However, an area rug or two can add a splash of colour complimenting your overall kitchen colour scheme. Pop some down near the door and under any stools or a kitchen table and you will be surprised at the difference. You may want to go for patterned rather than plain colours as stains and scuffs don’t show up as much.
So think about using these simple tips to turn your brand new kitchen into something really spectacular.
